Esteem is selected for revamp of HGU Reformer at CPCL, Manali
We take great pleasure in announcing that Esteem has been selected by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (CPCL) for carrying out a major revamp of the HGU reformer at their Manali Refinery.
Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), formerly known as Madras Refineries Limited (MRL) is operating two refineries with a combined refining capacity of 11.5 MMTPA located at Manali and Nagapattinam. As a part of CPCL’s corporate strategy and to reduce the emission levels of SO2, CPCL intends to use Re-gasified Liquid NaturalGas (RLNG) as feed as well as fuel in HGU in place of Naphtha.
As a part of the RLNG Project, CPCL proposes to revamp the existing HGU (Plant 205) for utilizing RLNG as a feed and fuel. This project covers requirements of modification to be carried out in Steam Reformer (205-F2) and connected pipelines/inlet system of HGU Plant-205 Reformer.
Technip India Ltd. (TPIL) is the Process Licensor for the Hydrogen Generation Unit Plant-205.
EPC Constructions India Ltd. is engaged as a consultant for the project by CPCL
We are thankful to CPCL and EPCC for awarding this prestigious project on Esteem
