Esteem wins order for Supply of two new Fired Heaters

We are delighted to announce yet another crucial project win. Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd. has selected Esteem for Supply of two new Fired Heaters for KHDS unit at their refinery at Bina, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL) is a joint venture company promoted by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Oman Oil Company S.A.O.C., Sultanate of Oman (OOC). BORL is engaged in crude procurement, crude oil refining & storage and despatch of petroleum products. The Company operates a six million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA) capacity refinery in the hinterland at Bina, Dist. Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.

Post de-bottlenecking project, BORL wants to reduce the Kerosene production from the refinery due to the falling consumption trend of Kerosene and also in the revised BS-VI specification of HSD, which will come into effect from year-2020, the lower limit of density has been removed. BORL wants to utilize this relaxation to blend excess kerosene into HSD after desulphurization. Final HSD after blending of desulphurized Kerosene will meet BS-VI specifications. In view of this BORL intends to set up Kerosene Hydrodesulphurization (KHDS) Unit of capacity 0.6 MMTPA. The Hydrotreated Kerosene from KHDS will also meet BS-VI Kerosene and BS-VI ATF properties. This project Involves to setup of new KHDS unit along with utilities and offsite facilities.

Engineers India Limited (EIL) has been engaged by BORL as the consultant for the Project.

Esteem's scope under this order includes a new Reactor Feed Heater and a new Stripper Reboiler Heater.
